MTC Week 4

The MTC is still wonderful! The food however isn't as great as it seemed at the beginning... It's good, but I could really use a kitchen and some ingredients to make something for myself right about now.

So, Every Sunday and Tuesday evening we have devotionals here at the MTC and then on Sundays after the devotional we watch a movie and this past Sunday we watched The Life and Ministry of Thomas S. Monson, it was so amazing! It made me want to just go out and serve all the lidé! I would highly suggest watching it but I tried looking and couldn't find it online... all I could find was - https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2009-09-01-on-the-lords-errand-the-life-of-thomas-s-monson?lang=eng  -  which isn't what I watched but still looks good. On Tuesday we had a really great devotional by Elder Gong from the presidency of the quorum of the 70. He taught about how we need to uplift each other and not pop each other's hopes and dreams for our missions; there were two skits, one, the first was so sad because one companion pops all of the other's hopes and dreams (balloons) and then says that all of his were popped as well, but then the second skit no balloons were popped and it was so cute.
The language is getting more difficult because we're learning cases - which isn't something in either French or Spanish - which changes the endings of words based on sentence structure (crazy stuff!). We just had a language test online which went horribly we're pretty sure, we all felt like we'd failed even though it isn't really anything official, our teachers just give us grades... and tell us we really need to work on everything hahaha!

This Saturday we get to pretend to be someone we know well who isn't a member which should be fun. Each of us are going to be teaching one on one with these characters. On Wednesday evening sometimes we try teaching a "less- active member" (which is again just one of our teachers playing the role of someone they know on their mission) and let me tell you, less-actives are a little bit harder to teach especially if they themselves are return-missionaries just because they know everything you're telling them.

Life is great! Love you all!!! Have a great week!!!
