Two capitols, Two Countries, One Mission
Translated for these sisters from Slovak into English for and American sister visiting. |
This week has been all over the place! It's so good to finally be back in Trenčín!
On Monday we went to Trenčín castle for the first time and it was so beautiful and so much fun! We hiked a little here and there, our skirts were having some trouble with the wind, and we had some great district bonding!
On Wednesday things started to get a little crazy. We started off by helping our friend Lovap do some service at his restaurant. Sestra Farnsworth and I got to spray/wipe down a ton of outdoor chairs. With a hose :D I loved it hahaha! Springtime is finally here and things are starting to warm up! (yesterday, so many families were out on their bikes - Czechs and Slovaks love it when it gets warm!) Anyway, after service, we got on a bus and went all the way to Prague! I got my visa finally! We got to say with Sister Ludlow - my MTC companion -, and Sister Jensen! Then the next day we went all the way to Bratislava - the capitol of Slovakia - via train and stay with the sisters there... because... we had zone training on Friday which was amazing! It's so wonderful all of the things you can learn from those who have stewardship over us given to them by God to lead us and help us become the best we can!
Then on Saturday and Sunday we had District Conference for all of Slovakia which is like a Stake Conference except we aren't big enough to be called a stake yet. It was so nice to see all of the missionaries serving in Slovakia plus all of the members who love this gospel so much. Their testimonies are truly humbling, they're so beautiful!
I love this gospel so much! I know it's true. I know that serving God's children whoever they may be is the greatest work we can do here because we are literally all brothers and sisters and need to be in continuous realization of that and of all that He has given us to succeed in this life!
I love you all so much!
Mám vás ráda!
Mějte se hezký!
