This week something really cool that happened is that
I started a contact with a lady on the street named Anaj. She's a super sweet
lady who doesn't have time for anything because she works teaching children and
takes care of her mother who has a lot of medical issues, but she was super
happy that we stopped to her to talk to her. Sestra Andersen had already talked
to her about two transfers ago but she was super grateful to be able to talk to
adults which she doesn't have the opportunity to do often and to be able to
talk to nice ones who are happy because they believe in something, in religion.
On Sunday, we had "Fat Sunday" which is
basically, every 5th Sunday in a month people bring treats to eat
after the third hour of church! I made chocolate chip cookies, Sestra Andersen
made orange rolls and a chocolate cake, and then two other cakes were
brought... Sestra Komancová, who is a super kind old lady in our ward (our ward
consists of a lot of old ladies who think of us missionaries as their own
grand-children) kept forcing us to eat more food by grabbing our arms and
pulling us towards it hahaha, she's so cute!
Another of the grandmas, Sestra Jurasková, who has us
over every week made us gulaš!!! My favorite, and I ate 11 knedlikys!! It's my
record! But this Friday when we have the sweet sugary knedliký
challenge at Sestra Komancová's house I might just dies from sugar overload... just
a warning for the excitement I'll be going through!
Today for P-Day, we're hoping to go to an art
gallery... we haven't decided yet which one, but it should be fun! All of us
Plzeň missionaries should be together, which is always wonderful!!!
Love you all, have a great week! Remember that our
loving Heavenly Father wants to help just so long as we ask it of him!
